Donations and Support

CoCO’s – Community Creating Opportunity – is community a driven and place based solution to many social issues.

Donations over $2 are tax – deductible and can be made online via a safe, reputable and commission free platform.

Help us deliver a holistic service to break the cycle:

  • Donate towards our Community Food Fund to continue providing emergency food relief; OR
  • Donate towards a Work Readiness Program for at risk youth and Asylum Seekers who don’t have work history or skills to get their foot in the door and are not eligible for any government funding; OR
  • Help us with Creative Community Workshop enabling training in up cycling and re-cycling material for fashion and useful household items – helping the environment and building skills for refugee women.

In 2017-18 we helped over 270 families with 358 children with food and material aid.

We also trained 36 job-seeking volunteers with 22 of them getting jobs after 4-6 weeks with us. Poverty and Social Isolation go hand in hand.  CoCO’s Team rely on community sharing and do not receive funding from any level of Government.

Collections by our volunteers can be organised for larger items. Please, call 9793 3736 to discuss.
